Disciplines: Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue
Jamie graduated from Liverpool Veterinary School in 2001, and came to the practice from Glasgow in 2008. In 2009 he passed the RCVS certificate in Small Animal Surgery and in 2015 was awarded advanced practitioner status in small animal surgery by the RCVS.
His areas of interest are joint surgery, management of osteoarthritis, laparoscopy and reconstructive surgery. In 2019 Jamie completed the MSc course in musculoskeletal science, run by UCL and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, and is a permanent member of the IVC clinical board.
He is a member of the advisory board of the Veterinary Osteoarthritis Alliance, and the X- in OA International Scientific Panel.
At home he enjoys fencing, photography and running, and trying to control his two small daughters and a badly behaved whippet.
