Dr Jamie McClement

Jamie graduated from Liverpool Veterinary School in 2001, and came to the practice from Glasgow in 2008.  In 2009 he achieved the RCVS certificate in Small Animal Surgery, and in 2015 was awarded Advanced Practitioner status in Small Animal Surgery by the RCVS.  He completed an MSc in Musculoskeletal Science at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore in 2019.

His areas of interest are joint surgery, management of osteoarthritis, and muscle/tendon injuries.  Jamie is Chair of the IVC UK Referrals Clinical Board, a member of the clinical advisory panel of the Veterinary Osteoarthritis Alliance, and the "X-pertise in OA" International Scientific Panel.  He lectures both in the UK and abroad on musculoskeletal disease in dogs and cats.

At home, he enjoys fencing, photography and running, and trying to control his three daughters and a sneaky whippet.
