Puppy parties are the first step to ensuring that your puppy grows into a healthy, happy, confident and well adjusted adult dog.
We currently run a single session once a month on a Thursday evening at 7pm at out Moulton College surgery.
Puppies must be between 8-14 weeks of age and have had their first vaccination and veterinary health check.
The following topics and activities include:
- Importance of early socialisation
- ‘Pass the Puppy’ session, allowing puppies to adapt to being handled by strangers
- Examination Table session, where puppies are given treats to show them that it is not all bad being at the vets!
|
- Health care discussion to include parasite control, neutering, microchips, dental care and diet.
- Open discussion on behaviour and training issues.
- Playtime!
Whether you are thinking of coming along to one of our parties or not, please feel free to contact us if you are experiencing any behaviour or training issues with your puppy, however minor they may seem.
Experienced staff may be able to help or put you in touch with a qualified trainer or behaviourist. It is important that problems are dealt with as soon as possible to prevent them from becoming worse and therefore more difficult to treat.
